Public Transit & Walking
Take the Green Line to Mad Oyster!
The new MBTA Green Line, Heath St. – Tufts/Medford line has opened!
The GILMAN SQUARE stop is across the street from our building..
At present the pedestrian walkway is only open heading Southeast / Left as you exit the platform. Take this walkway to Medford Street and cross the street. Mad Oyster Studios is directly behind the very tall brick building. Walk to your left until you get to the stairs down through the small green space.
The MBTA #80 bus stops directly in front of our building on Bradley and Pearl Streets. This bus runs between Lechmere Station and Arlington Center.
We’re also a short walk down the hill via Walnut Street or School St. from Highland Avenue, on which run the #88 between Davis Square and Lechmere, and the #90 between Davis Square and Sullivan Station. It is a slightly longer, but level walk via Marshall St. from Broadway where the #89, #93, and #101 buses run. See www.mbta.com for more details.
In good weather, and for people without mobility difficulties, we’re a comfortable 15 minute walk from Union Square, Somerville.

We have off-street parking behind the building for Mad Oyster tenants and guests.
